"I wanted to share this story about my 7 year old son with you: First you need to know, that he was often being bullied, but many thanks to Marisa, this problem is getting better and better. So today he got back from school and started to tell what happened to him. He was in class and they made a holiday journal. While doing that, he was sitting with a group, and one of the kids told him, he should write (something offensive) and in return for that he would give him money. The others in the group started to cheer that my son had to do it. My son started to write in the journal; I am enough and told the bully to write it himself! I can't tell you how proud and grateful I am! Thank you Marisa Peer for sharing your wisdom and simple tools. Even a child can help himself so easily out of these nasty situations."
"The hypnosis session was one of the most powerful, healing things I’ve ever experienced. I usually have trouble crying, alone or in public but yesterday I just cried, and cried, and cried. I felt like writing to you, Marisa, because, one, I wanted to share the experience with you, and two, who knows, you might want to use it as an example in the future. I instantly felt the weight of anxiety and feeling unsafe drop from me as the hypnosis progressed, and I know today marks a new phase in my life. Marisa, you truly are one of God’s healers and I know in my heart you’re doing God’s work on earth. Thank you, very very much, for your time, your dedication, your love, and your generosity. I’m eternally grateful to you for making the experience I had yesterday possible."
"I first saw you on a video where you suggested writing on your bathroom/bedroom mirror 'I am enough'. It's still there, on my bathroom mirror. Throughout my life from when I can remember it's all been 'Flight or Fight'. As a consequence I've become what my psychologist calls 'hyper vigilant. Gradually though, I'm able to walk a little more freely in the world. Without alcohol, drugs...or thoughts of killing myself because the pain is so intense. That little phrase on my mirror, in lipstick, now dusty from not being cleaned, seems to have helped. I just left it there and see it every single day, sometimes wonder what it means...but let me please let you know...just one word comes to mind FREEDOM! Words are just words Marisa....but they're powerful. Thankyou Marisa. You broke me open...into caring about my dear little self."
